One scarf at a time.
Today, I was interviewed by a local news channel. I’ve been placing scarves in trees throughout the city of Norfolk for anyone who needs a little help keeping warm this winter. So, I was able to share my passion to help others and talk about this project which was inspired by my late aunt. I miss you, Aunty.
To me random acts of kindness like this are extremely small. They do not require much of my time. In exchange when I am done my heart is full and I am happy. This winter, I’m hoping that each person who removes a scarf from a tree knows that he or she is loved and that someone cares about them. I’m also challenging you(yes you!) to find the time to volunteer or help someone in need.
